Position: Creative Drafter
Location: Dongguan, China
About You:
Creative Drafter is responsible to support the creation of new furniture products in terms of digital modeling, visualization, and draft drawings. Support both sales and purchasing in any graphics-related work, image clean-up, product presentation.
Support purchasing teams with the creation of AI, product drawings, labeling and or shipping artwork and product. documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create 3D models of furniture from design and concepts
- Create photorealistic 3D renders of furniture and interiors
- Create Assembly instructions for furniture products
Key skills and experience:
Design software and technologies
- Prio 1 Sketchup
- Prio 2 3DS MAX
- Prio 3 AUTO CAD
- Prio 4 Photoshop
- Prio 5 Adobe illustrator
The ability to create 3D models in the above software
- Upholstery products (Sofa, Lounge chair, Armchair, dining chair)
- Board products (Cabinets, sideboards, dining tables, beds, chest of drawer)
The ability to create photorealistic renders of furniture’s and simple interior
- Create white background renders of single items
- Create renders of the interior with furniture products in them The ability to create AI (Assembly instructions) for furniture products (AUTO CAD and Adobe illustrator)
Product photography
- Able to use a digital camera for furniture photography
- Able to set up lighting for furniture photography
- Able to correct and adjust images to be used in sales material
Good to have
- Experience from the furniture industry
- Experience with furniture design
- Experience with furniture materials and constructions
- Graphic design knowledge (Making presentations etc.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English and Chinese
- Creative and innovative
- Open for new ideas and ways of doing things
